Crime Alarm Security Systems - About Us

Crime Alarms Security Systems was started in 1990 by Roger Goddard - who saw a massive market being opened up by the advent of wireless technologies being used in home security alarm systems. He quickly became established by fitting wireless alarm systems in homes, new builds on  building sites and businesses throughout the Midlands & Home Counties.

The benefits of not having to run wires all around the building meant he could install home security alarm systems almost anywhere - without the normal resulting mess, normally associated with the old alarm systems. 

Although the early systems were good in general, there were the obvious problems associated with any new technology and this experience led to Roger and his Crime Alarms staff understanding far more about wireless alarm systems than many of their rivals. 

Security systems are now far more reliable and sleeker looking, but these lessons are still an invaluable experience within the company.  

Crime Alarms Security Systems was recently purchased by Northampton based Ultra Secure Ltd, whose joint MD Mark Walter worked closely with Roger Goddard for many years in the service and installation of these wireless alarm systems. Although now retired, Roger is to stay actively involved with the business in the role of technical consultant.

Ultra Secure Ltd were already in the security product business and specialised in supplying security products to homes and businesses - these included:

• long range wireless driveway alert systems (imported from America)
• automatic gates systems using wireless intercom systems.

It therefore made absolute commercial sense that both businesses and brands would complement each other.
